Q: Why will the nail stamping not work with my own nail polishes?
A: Konad Nail Stamping must be used with Konad special polishes as they are 5 times thicker than regular polish. You must never paint your nails with Konad special polish as it is too thick, it won't dry.
Q: When I try to use the stamping nail art, the image does not go onto my stamp.
A: This happens when the paint has had time to dry into the image plate and if you do not put enough paint on the plate, and also if you take too long painting over the design. Also some people are too precise about painting into every detail of the design and this can lead to the paint drying- When you open the special polish, paint straight onto the design (blob it on) and holding the scraper at a 45 degree angle away from you, scrape the polish off immediatley (QUICKLY). Then press down with your stamp immediately as the longer you leave it the more it dries into the design. This will always pick the design up.
Q: The stamp is picking up the design but it will not go onto my nail.
A: This happens when you take too long positioning the image onto your nail. If the design is still on the stamp it has dried in. Wipe it clean with nail polish remover and do it again. As soon as the design is on the stamp roll it onto your nail. This will only take one or two practises to work out where to position it on your nail.
Q: When will I have to replace my stamp and scraper?
A: These items do not wear out and you will only need to replace them if you loose them.
Q: How long do the image plates last?
A: As with your tools the image plates do not wear out, they are stainless steel and although they will scrape from using your scraper, it will not affect the designs.
Q: I've tried painting my nails with the polishes in the sets but they will not dry properly, why is that?
A: The special polish in the sets are only for the nail art. They are 5 times thicker than regular polish and are not designed to be applied directly to the nail. Please use a base coat of regular polish then use the special polish for the designs.
